Editorial policy

How are claims, examples, corrections and conflicts handled?

Massing & Light starts with a question, research and sources. A target query shapes the title, route and presentation after the page has a defensible answer. Archived routes establish topic and page intent; they do not authorize copied text, images or client claims.

Evidence hierarchy

Primary standards, public authorities and institutional collections support precise factual claims. Professional guidance can support commissioning and workflow practice when it is identified as guidance. Product documentation is used only for named product behavior. Editorial synthesis connects those materials to image decisions and is labeled accordingly.

Corrections and boundaries

Changing rules retain jurisdiction, source version and review date. A photograph can show visible conditions, but it cannot certify compliance, safety, social outcome or legal permission. A correction that changes meaning is made promptly and recorded in the source method. Contact contact@surloff.com with the URL and source.

Commercial separation

Paid contributions must fit the built-image scope, carry a visible disclosure and use appropriate link attributes. Payment cannot alter a source conclusion, evidence grade or matrix field. Read the full sponsored content policy.
