Publication trust

Sponsored content policy

How are paid contributions labeled, reviewed and kept separate from evidence?

Massing & Light accepts proposals only when the subject belongs naturally inside architecture, property and construction, home and interiors, hospitality and public spaces, photography and technology, or built-image business and media.

Visible disclosure

A paid contribution is labeled near the beginning of the article in plain language. Contracted outbound links use rel="sponsored" and remain inside the article, never in sitewide navigation, the footer or an undisclosed template.

Editorial control

The editorial desk controls title, claims, sources, category, image and publication status. Payment cannot buy a fabricated statistic, disguised medical or legal advice, a false first-hand test, an unrelated category or a change to the Building Image Brief Matrix evidence grade. A proposal may be declined or corrected when it conflicts with these rules.

Records and expiry

Every placement is inventoried with its page, destination and active dates. Expired campaigns are reviewed rather than silently left in a contradictory state. The current inventory is empty at launch.

Send a concise proposal to contact@surloff.com and read the editorial policy first.
